01How are stylists paid?
Stylists are W-2 employees and receive competitive hourly pay plus tips. Eligible positions may also earn performance bonuses.
02Are weekly hours guaranteed?
Yes. Once your regular schedule is agreed upon, you can count on your assigned weekly hours.
03Can I work here while building my own clientele?
Many stylists use Coffee & Hair Co. as dependable supplemental income. Flexible schedules can work alongside other goals, subject to company client and outside-work policies.
04Do I need to bring my own clients?
No established clientele is required. Coffee & Hair Co. markets both salons and maintains a steady flow of guests.
05Do I need blowout experience?
No. We provide thorough paid training on COHA System products and the complete Coffee & Hair Co. blowout process. Newly licensed graduates and seasoned stylists are both encouraged to apply.
06Do I need a Florida cosmetology license?
Yes. An active Florida cosmetology license is required before beginning a stylist role. Prior blowout experience is not required because paid training is provided.
07Do I need to speak English?
Spanish-speaking applicants are welcome. You may apply and interview in English or Spanish. Language needs can vary by role, and we will discuss them clearly.
08Do you offer full-time and part-time schedules?
Yes, based on current salon needs. Select your preferred hours and availability when you apply.
09What happens after I apply?
We review your application, then may invite you to a brief call or video conversation and a salon visit. When relevant, we clearly explain any skills demonstration. Selected candidates review pay, schedule and W-2 paperwork before beginning paid COHA System and Coffee & Hair Co. blowout training.
